Given my Christian faith, I see the hand of God all over the place; all creation.

FTA: "Today, Roberts went pragmatist rather than Constitutionalist on the Arizona bill." I fear the worst from this "court" on ObamaCare and this is why~!

Gerty  That concluding sentence was unsettling to me too. I don't think I like the idea of 'pragmatism' mixing with the law. Is it is or is it ain't constitutional?!?

That's all I want to know from SCOTUS.

BubbaEuler posted on Politics  While listening to the radio last night, I heard a news report about Mitt Romney's comments during a speech somewhere. They produced a "sounder" of Romney's voice. All of a sudden, it hit me: Mitt Romney sounds just like Bush 41, George H. W. Bush! It's true! Listen on the radio or close your eyes if viewing TV reports. Very disconcerting/

BubbaEuler posted on Main Page The Lobby  All morning, Google and Google Analytic have been DOWN, or very, very slow. It's made all websites which use them slow to lo.......ad !

Google.com is pervasive in all aspects. Be afraid, be very afraid. They make me very cautious concerning my web browsing. How do you cope with this? Wipe your browser constantly? Clean Temp files often? Or do you not consider it a threat to you?

BubbaEuler posted on Main Page The Lobby  For what it's worth, here's a excerpt from a Hotair.com blog:

"Asked by the AP reporter if he follows NASCAR, Romney responded, “Not as closely as some of the most ardent fans. But I have some great friends who are NASCAR team owners.”

Democrats and liberals quickly ridiculed the remark on Twitter. “I don’t know people who fish but I know people who own yachts,” tweeted Brad Woodhouse, communications director of the Democratic National Committee. Ari Melber, a writer for the liberal Nation magazine who apparently was watching the Oscars, tweeted: “Do I like movies? Well I have some friends who own movie companies.”…

For Romney, it was just his world and his friends. For Democrats, it was a political opportunity. “This is just the latest example of how out of touch Mitt Romney is from the average American experience. From an economic plan that provides tax cuts to line the pockets of his friends — like those who own NASCAR teams — to wanting Wall Street to write its own rules, Mitt Romney just doesn’t get it and won’t work to restore economic security for the middle class,” said DNC press secretary Melanie Roussell."

BubbaEuler posted on Main Page The Lobby  "Political parties are in the business of preserving power and aggrandizing it when possible. At the state level, one of the principal tools they use is the gerrymander to draw political districts to the advantage of whichever party happens to be in power. That's the way the political game is played in Texas and most states."

Ole buzzard  And that is at the heart of what is wrong with this country and why we are in the shape we are. The political parties are so consumed by their quest for power and immediate gratification, that they have lost sight of their mandate according to the Constitution. As Herman Cain said on one of his radio broadcasts (and I forget to whom he attributed it ): "Politicians are only concerned with the next election. Statesmen are concerned with the next generation."

We have precious few statesmen in our government today.
