Jatfla  I am looking for the sign that has a young man talking about how great his generation is while an older man sets him straight. That's the best I can do with the description. Any one remember it? I had it saved & then my motherboard died.

Jatfla posted on Main Page The Lobby  I have G. W. Bush as one of my "Friends" on FB. Today there was posted several wonderful pictures of his, Laura's, and his daughters' visit to Africa to raise awareness for cancer and aids there. I thought I'd like to post some of them so I went to "Google" for a search. Well, guess what? The first 5 pages (that's all I bothered with ) were filled with articles about Amnesty International wanting the African Countries to arrest him when he arrived!!! Disgusting.

Jatfla posted on Main Page The Lobby  I listened to Chris Wallace's interview with Sen. Coburn yesterday and heard his comments about Speaker Gingrich. He was asked about Gingrich's increasing polls numbers and was kinda' put on the spot when asked it he could support him as a Presidential candidate. He said that he could not and mentioned his lack of "leadership skills" and I remember the word "harsh". Sen. Coburn did acknowledge that he was "brilliant" and had many ideas. While I don't criticize the Senator for his candid remarks I couldn't help but think about what the Speaker was able to accomplish. Maybe we need someone to be a little "harsh" in Washington to accomplish some things that need to be done and he *must* have some kind of leadership skills!

Well there is - four more years for Comrade Obama to finish his "transformation" of America. ANY of the present candidates are superior to the Communist in the White House.

Jatfla posted on Main Page The Lobby  I flipped on Hannity at the top of the hour and was greeted by an interview with John Bolton & Oliver North concerning Libya. Yes....it's a horrible joke on all of us and a disgrace. However, tell me this....why does Hannity have Al Sharpton on? I absolutely *refuse* to watch that charlatan and believe it gives no credibility to Hannity's program. Get him and his ilk off the screen forever!

Jatfla posted on Main Page The Lobby  60 Minutes?
While I was getting Mom ready for bed, I think Leslie Stahl was interviewing John Boehner and his wife. While it was intended to be a rags-to-riches story, I lost it when Ms. Stahl asked Speaker Boehner's wife "Does he always cry?" His wife responded that he was going through a very emotional time in his life. How absolutely RUDE can a person be? She was trying to portray him as a wimp and a cry-baby. I've seen Generals, Presidents, Coaches, Soldiers, Firemen, and more...weep when overcome with the magnitude of the circumstances. While I would never say such-a-thing to a person, I wanted to ask Ms. Stahl if her lips were bombs about to go off and if she had just stuck her finger in a light socket because her hair was sticking out everywhere. (end of rant!)

Christie  Jatfla and all. Yesterday, I saw/heard a three-second clip of John Boehner breaking down again (in church) and I was ready to pull out the long knives for him....These people who have made millions on the misfortunes of others, just 'for the story' when it's all about the $$$ and the Power.
I don't know much about Stahl, but from what I saw it was clear that this woman has no children, not because she couldn't have successfully procreated, but that none of them survived because she ate them, if not literally then figuratively. This goes for whoever wakes up in her bed... Hillary doesn't have anything on Leslie; I'd say that their emotional lives are both frozen solid. Alas, I have no sympathy for them!...Perhaps John will not accept any more interviews with the enemy.

Chillijilli  I have a personal experience with 60 Minutes and refuse to watch the show because the information they presented in my case was not factual. I was teaching in a Tokyo public high school and was told that Mike Wallace and the 60 Minutes crew were coming to our school to film an hour long segment on Japanese education. The teachers asked me in advance what I thought would be most surprising about Japanese education to American viewers. I mentioned that there was no classroom interaction between teacher and student (no questions), that only 5% of the faculty were female, and that Japanese teachers of English could not speak English. On the appointed day, I met with Mike Wallace and crew and agreed which of my classes would be filmed. During a break beforehand, I slid into the back of another English class to see how the filming was going. I could not believe my eyes when I saw that 3 unknown female teachers and "students" who had been recruited from other schools were actively *discussing* grammar--- in English! A total sham! What 60 Minutes was filming was not reality, but a stage production created by the Japanese to impress an American audience! When I pointed this out, Wallace's response was that it didn't really matter b/c the 60 Minutes' agenda was merely to give American viewers a "perspective" on what Japanese schools are like! HUH??? I'll post more on my wall if anyone's interested.

Lana720  I'd like to see what is on the cutting room floor. CBS did the same thing to Sarah. Stahl is way past her expiration date as is the entire show. I only watched it b/c John Boehner was going to be on since it came on right after the football game. Otherwise, I never watch the tripe they serve.

OnTheBall  Jatfla indeed, indeed! The man knows where too many of the bodies are buried from past demo crimes methinks! Make no mistake about it, there are a lot of RINOs (marxists posing as GOP) who are just as nervous about forcing Charley to do the perp-walk as the marxists posing as demos, are.

But you've nailed it, this guy is so bent he is officially ~crooked~. Can you even begin to calculate the IRS late fees and fines for Charlie's combining four Harlem rent controlled apartments into his personal office suite there in Harlem? If the IRS is true to their code, they would have to charge Charley the going rate for a comparable suite, at the going rate over each yr he has been there. Then add in the late fees and penalties, to it. You add in the owed interest for it all over thirty yrs and I don't think Charlie has stolen that much! It has to be huge! And this doesn't even get into his other criminal IRS omissions with the properties in Florida and in the Caribbean!

OnTheBall  Then there is that whole issue of Charley not paying his 'Fair Share', while screaming at greedy GOP and greedy Wall Street. Ooooh myyyy, it makes one's face burn with embarrassment for our nation as a whole, to know this foul creature is such a huge parasite of proportions we can only vaguely guess at now and ponder just how represenative he 'is' of what has been going on by others in congress!

OnTheBall  Jatfla, are you familiar with Di-Fi's family business that was exposed for skimming off of Govt contracts they'd received to take care of wounded military from the war; as a benefit of Dianne Feinstein's role as Chairman of Military Contracts? When it was exposed to how badly Di-Fi and her family had been skimming the money from the contract (according to articles on the issue), it outraged even the marxists posing as demos and rinos. Di-Fi merely resigned her Chairman's post, as though that was some kind of magical 'King's X, I'm in free' routine!

This was WHY G.W. Bush ~fired~ the U.S. Atty from the region of where Di-Fi's biz was in this govt contract skimming issue. The U.S. Atty refused to go after Di-Fi and her family! The larger issue of how much money was stolen and how this translated into lost medical care for our wounded military, never seemed to attract any news reporter's attention! Sadly!
