Flaming Sword  The editor decided to remove it. I just emailed the PC pig my opinion.

StephaniePlum  Not only did the editor remove the cartoon, he wrote a drooling editorial, apologizing for publishing it in the first place. Maybe he thought it was offensive and uncaring for the "immigrant" family to be portrayed as having to climb in through the window rather than being warmly welcomed at the front door.

Papasparky  There is nothing offensive about that cartoon -- it speaks the truth in an easy understandable way.

What is not only offensive, but alarmingly depressive, is the fact that the editor involved is a perfect poster boy for the travail that has infested our once great nation because of the rotten media.

The same media that was charged by our Constitution to be the peoples watch dog and to publish truth without fear or interference from the government.

That editor, and the thousands more just like him, have earned and need to experience the bitter taste of the ignominy they deserve for their failure!

Kudos Gary -- do it again and take a shot at that editor, as only you can -- We The People are with you!

GrannieEagle  This may work for simple addition, but how about a demonstration adding up a column of numbers? Total progressive insanity!

MeiDei  For big & long columns of numbers I taught myself, for work 45+ years ago, the Trachtenberg System from a book, worked faster the using a comptometer at the time. He was in prison for a long time and came up with a system of mathematics that made it easier to learn & use. His system is the least complicated I've eve

My sister was a comptometer operator for the Otis Elevator Co. many moons ago!

Bettijo  I remember comptometers, mimeograph machine, slide rules, taking dictation using Gregg Shorthand, and RETYPING incoming correspondence when copies were needed! What were those first copiers called (that made brownish film-like copies )?
