MayDay MJ: It was the time line over the course of his presidency that really got to me. With so many other distractions i.e., the oil spill, Iran, Ft. Hood, etc., I was glad to have it listed chronologically. Not the actions of a so-called Christian president. Surprised only you & EC commented. Hope you do find an acceptable article to post on the Main Page. It certainly put a lot in perspective for me.

MayDay posted on Faith This contraception/abortion thing on the main page vs First Amendment rights has me going nuts. Pope Paul VI published his encyclical "Humanae Vitae" where in he mentions the subject for enlightenment. I'm copying it not to prostelize but just so some will better understand - the Catholic Church is not against contraception just the artificial means:
Consequences of Artificial Methods
17. Responsible men can become more deeply convinced of the truth of the doctrine laid down by the Church on this issue if they reflect on the consequences of methods and plans for artificial birth control. Let them first consider how easily this course of action could open wide the way for marital infidelity and a general lowering of moral standards. Not much experience is needed to be fully aware of human weakness and to understand that human beings—and especially the young, who are so exposed to temptation—need incentives to keep the moral law, and it is an evil thing to make it easy for them to break that law. This is a First Amendment issue that affects all American's but there are the Catholic bashers on the mothersite that say, 'you got your comeuppance' because of some liberal bishops, they don't seem to understand they are next in line to be told what they can and can not do, say or believe.

Escaped commieny Muslims want American’s to accept them and to embrace their ways, including Sharia law. But Sharia law has no place in American law, culture or in any country for that matter. It is completely degrading to women and should be repulsive to anyone with a sense of decency.

Waiting to hear from someone that was heavily involved with one of the publishers of school text books. Hopefully this will go viral, nothing like a little sunshine to disinfect what needs disinfecting. As for her remarks about the school in MA - it happened in one of the tony Boston suburbs without parental knowledge or consent - shocking how you can't give a kid an aspirin in school but you can send them out for an abortion or to indoctrination of an alternate life style and/or religion. Glad to know others here are keeping the rest of us informed.
