Norgay posted on Main Page The Lobby It is a red letter day here in Nebraska. Senator Ben Nelson from Nebraska is going to retire rather than face an election that many of us here in Nebraska were working hard to make sure that he lost. I think that this is more writing on the wall that the Republicans will take control of the senate. Now what they do with it is another story. For today though I’ll take the good news.

Escaped commieny LSM thinks the Taxed Enough Already crowd has evaporated because there haven't been an big rallies, that's good, because in reality, we are stronger than ever, but working at the local levels and getting results. The days of the big shows and signs is over, they not only didn't listen, they tried to disparage us, but We The People learned there is country wide support to remove the libtards turned Marxists. Like I told Martinsh, we all thought we were alone, but now we know better, we out number them but have to learn how to organize, communicate, educate and motivate. As Mark Levin told us before the election, they distorted the language and corrupted the discourse.

Nugoddess Now, if he would only take Bill Nelson with him, Floridians would have a fighting chance of leading the charge to save our Republic.

Escaped commieny I know NU, I saw Nelson retiring on the main site, got all excited and then poof Ben not Bill. Not sure how Connie Mack will do, seems some baggage there, and Grayson is making his usual racket. Just when I think we can lead the charge, we have the idiots in Tampa pepper spraying a guy to death. That's why at times I use Floriduh

Browneyes What with all the issues boiling up {Solyndra,Fast & Furious,Freddie & Fanny, etc} is it possible that ole Ben has knowledge of what is oozing out and loves his family more than his co-conspirtors?

Escaped commieny I don't know from butterbeans, but I think his sell out for the cornhusker deal on Zerocare was enough to have him leave. That must be thrown out, repealed, destroyed, what ever, it's not just zero, it was the left's dream since FDR, WW, control healthcare=control the lives of Americans

Belwhatter With you Hollyhock - what tired old useless porkers we suffer here in WA. TEA party might do well to concentrate on voter ID and monitoring election returns. Also read earlier that the financial wizz of MF Global has major ties to the EPA - food for thought- as well as Corzine's senate and Goldman ties - can you say incestuous?
