Safesword posted on Main Page The Lobby regarding the idiot bomber story: first,he cant talk due to being shot in the throat..next,he wont talk after being read his miranda rights...followed by he was unarmed when he was in the boat so he didn't shoot himself in the throat....i am absolutely appalled at the nerve of our officials who are weaving these lies together!! and what is worse,is that martial law was pretty much enforced and what did we do? we cheered it..and for what? based on this whole twisted tale of lies and deceit?....SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH ALL THAT WE ARE BEING,AND NOT BEING,TOLD!!

Ynaught Many of these officials realize that they were elected by low information voters and consequently expect that we all are low information, and will believe anything they say.

August9 Agree with Safesword here, but would add that while martial law was enforced, I don't believe it was declared. It was chilling to see people ordered out of their homes (with their hands up ) at gunpoint. If you wondered whether LEO or the military would obey an order to roust the populace, you just got a partial answer!

Safesword posted on Main Page The Lobby i dont know if this belongs in faith section, but i have a question...after having 3 babies,(well, the wife did,i just did the fun part,HA! )..we decided that it was enough, and since we despise abortion like no other, that it was time for a vasectomy..and i must admit, when it was done,i kinda felt ..i dont know..like it was unnatural, and maybe i shouldnt have...we did this to be responsible economically, and emotionally,as 3 boys being raised with 2 working parents, and my mother in law lives with us,so 6 in the house is expensive..and working 12 hour shifts,it seems like we dont have all the time in the world to give to our children...lame cop-out,i agree..but this is true...and all by design, but that is another story...anyway,my question is..did i do the right thing? or am i guilty of destroying the seed of life in God's eyes?...just curious to find out your opinion..and this was not posted to argue about,so lets keep disagreements polite...thanks

Rollingcow Speaking from the female side here. Mr. Cow and I had no problem having The Calf, but there were a series of heartbreaks after so by the time The Calf was seven we decided we didn't want to start the process all over again and Mr. Cow had a vasectomy. We weren't Catholic then which might have made a difference, but we really haven't regretted it in a major way. Looking back I can see that one wasn't a bad thing, we have nieces and nephews we spent time with and now that The Calf and his family live in our house we have three active grandchildren to deal with on a daily basis. I guess the way I look at it is, we all make mistakes, God forgives them and let's us enjoy what we have. We have eight people here so I understand the money part, it's a real problem sometimes when something major comes up. I made my own peace with God on this issue and am content with the state of my relationship with Him. I am willing to bet you made the right decision for YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, what others think doesn't matter. Sorry if I'm a bit rambly, I do much better with the spoken word. Mrs. Cow

NotaBene I completely agree with Mrs. Cow. We were lucky to have three beautiful children but I could not have normal deliveries. I had three Cesarean sections. After that I decided to tie my tubes. I am a Catholic but I had to think about my health. I was responsible (together with my husband ) for the raising of my children and wanted to live and enjoy them. I did not want to have any more Cesareans. Maybe what I did was wrong in the eyes of a lot of people and the Church but my health was important. Today I am a happy grandmother and have no regrets. Safesword, enjoy your children and do not worry. I am sure God understand us and will keep blessing us. Mrs. NotaBene

Ole buzzard I was on active duty when my children were born, and although we lived in base housing, had access to the commissary, BX, etc., things were tight. Our daughter was profoundly hearing impaired, so it was important to my wife (at the time ) and I that she be able to stay at home with her. So after our second son was born, we decided that I would have a vasectomy, even though we were both practicing Catholics.

FL Homeschool Mom After our 3rd child was born and I had gone through a very scary pregnancy (severe morning sickness -- lost 30 lbs., gestational diabetes, severe bleeding after c-section that required an embolization (sp? ) and a long time healing ) we decided that hubby should get a vasectomy since another pregnancy would be extremely risky for me. We really struggled with this, mostly him though since he grew up Catholic, and even though we knew we were doing the right thing, we still felt guilt afterward. Looking back at "what if" is human nature. I would have loved to have several more babies, but we started late (I was 34 when I conceived my 1st ) and the clock just ran out when our 3rd blessing arrived. You made the right decision for your family -- maybe God left room for another child who needs a home later? He works in mysterious ways.

Safesword thanks all....good answers all! i appreciate the responses...im sure i did the right thing, but like FLMom,i felt guilt, and sometimes still do...but i figured that guilt was a lot better than an abortion guilt..which is murder..dont get me wrong,i did contemplate it..i guess we all have our moments of doubt and fear,as parenthood was not an expected thing at the time(the first one )but for the love of God i just didnt have it in me to do it...and thank God for it!

Rollingcow For Pity's sake! Turn off the television, stop reading the news on the internet-at least for a while. I simply can't understand why people are letting the Drive-Bys have so much power over their lives. Can't say I don't worry from time to time, but giving into despair is like giving up on God. Remember, Zippy doesn't have Democrats dominating both the house and the senate, at least some of our guys are fighting, let's wait and see what happens before we give up. Mrs. Cow

Rollingcow I have many doubts and concerns over what is happening in DC, I do what I can to help our side. I guess what I'm trying to say is the Media puts out nothing but bad news, we are bombarded with what they want us to believe is going on. How many times have they reported something and it's turned out that they were making it up? Bad news travels fast, the good news takes some digging. I've never given up on anything and I refuse to give up on the Country. If we don't keep fighting back we are giving our concent. Mrs. Cow

Escaped commieny #1. It is NOT paranoia when the actions against this Republic are real. #2. The main stream media has no credibility with Patriots, they appeal to the low information voter so we have to counter that with education and information. Some are teachable/reachable, some are not. Don't waste your time on the closed minded. I am active in ProLife, so I was aware and started following this zero when, in his State Senate, he voted 3, THREE times against the Born Alive ACT, to provide medical care to infants that survived abortions. His backers are worldwide, with a decades old agenda and big money. These are facts not paranoia, and it will happen here, unless enough people become aware, that life as they knew it, has already changed , What to do about it? Study Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, so you recognize the tactics. Wake up your fellow American's, it's hard to reach people when their entire life is consumed by just trying to work, take care of their kids and survive, but we must 'disturb their complacency', it is shocking, no doubt about it, but, unfortunately, it is real. We still outnumber them but we are unorganized. The ground game for zero, organized by the unions was phenominal, and we, workers for True The Vote got shut down in many states. First thing, is closed Primaries, second purge voter rolls of the dead and multiply addresses, and educate every where you go. We have a corrupt DOJ so it comes down to vast numbers of citizens to 'insist' on change.

Escaped commieny A perfect example is the reaction to the permit holders names and addresses being published. BINGO, the editor and reporters names and addresses were published, this is how we fight back, use their tactics on them. One embarassed reporter took her facebook page down when it was revealed she was a child molester. FIND out who these people are and expose them. And don't tell me, we need to stay above the fray, when your life is at stake, you fight to win. There isn't a second prize.
