Uno posted on Main Page The Lobby Here is a nice little video for Armed Forced Day, tomorrow May 18th. It isn't flashy or spectacular in any way, just plain old simple gratitude. An American expressing thanks with genuine thoughts. Comments that could possibly at some time crawl across a teleprompter, but real thoughts have never once gone through the Obamboozler's mind. I'm pretty sure that the pResident has no concept of Armed Forces Day until someone else puts it on his calendar for him and spoon feeds it to him and tells him to go out and thank a corpse man! Enjoy.

Surfhut Wonderful way to start the day. My flag is proudly flying. Deep gratitude to all who have served, all the way back to my 7th great grandfather who took up arms in the Revolutionary War at the age of 50.
A vast number of us have deep roots, long family history in this exceptional nation. We work, we serve, we sacrifice. We pray. I have high hopes that our steadfastness is starting to turn the tide to restoring our country. God Bless America.

Tocsin My mind today is not so much on THE FLAG, although, today, like every other day she is flying in all her glory. But on my friends & family members who sacrificed so much on the trails & in the rice paddies, at the Chosin Reservoir & Inchon and in the air, sea & ground battles of WWII. Rest in Peace true & valiant Patriots.

Surfhut My father, both of his brothers, my father-in-law are all WWII vets. They were treated with honor after WWII. I have a friend who served in Korea and the early days of Nam. Many peers who served in Nam. The Korea and Nam vets are often forgotten. In my home, they are remembered on this day and every day.

Uno posted on Main Page The Lobby Gee Wally! What a difference 39 years makes. Well, not really Beav...she was the same rotten, callous witch then too, just not as many victims of her deceit, dishonesty and vile character were in her wake yet!

Are we there yet? Yes Joey, I believe we are!

Labrador Heaven Barack, he of the perfectly fluent Arabic and inflection of same. He's one of them, he told them, not to worry. Apparently, they haven't and they need not now.. Boston..nothing to worry about. Just one of many they need not worry about.
Immigration legislation...deliberate cementing the coffin shut on our United States. The influx alone will kill us off, and we may as well be Mexico, or Afghanistan. This is all deliberate - as Photoonist said in his last post: the end.
I wish RVs could do ocean travel...

Surfhut Not the end. Photoonist needs to suck it up and get back in the fight. A lot of people need to. I will NEVER EVER give up. God Bless America.
Rake King They (Muslims ) deserve some bullying, just as the Irish, Italians, etc. got when they came to America. It's all part of ones cultural structuring.

Uno posted on Main Page The Lobby Regarding Benghazi: We have a lot more important things to get done here. We need to move on and start thinking about just how good looking I am. I mean I am so smooth, suave and sophisticated, how could anyone resist me? Did I tell you I served in Vietnam? I did? Oh... have I told you about Cle de Peau Beaute?

Uno posted on Main Page The Lobby I did not know Cap personally, only as a respected poster of common sense, logic and patriotism. I too will miss his contributions. RIP Sir!

Balogreene I must say, I agree with Uno. I loved reading his posts. His common sense, logic, sense of history and patriotism were amazing. What a beautiful season to be with GodandJesus.
Can someone here direct these posts to his daughter. We all know how much tributes mean to the family.

Surfhut RIP, Cap. Hope your family reads these tributes. I remember way back when you were on a road trip with your grandson and had an accident in SoCal. Offered help as a local, but you had matters well in hand!
Perfect time for you to arrive in Heaven. Lord willing, say hi to my beloved father-in-law (WWII Army ) who arrived in Heaven on this day in 1993.
Hope your family isn't offended, but we always said "Leave it to Dad to slide into Heaven during the biggest celebration of the year." I know you are completely fine. My prayers are for your family and friends dealing with grief.
