Allsogreat posted on Main Page The Lobby  Well, the Republicans have again proven how ineffective they can be. They can't even pass their own healthcare bill when they control both houses of congress and the Presidency. Mean while the other Criminal element (Dumacrats ) will be laughing all the way to the polls where they will again control Congress, continue to import more Illegal Aliens and further their destruction of America.....Our children and Grandchildren just don't have a furture, because we let them down.

Allsogreat posted on Main Page The Lobby  An old cowboy walks into a barbershop in Red Lodge,
Montana for a shave and a haircut. He tells the barber
he can't get all his whiskers off because his cheeks
are wrinkled from age.

The barber gets a little wooden ball from a cup on the
shelf and tells the old cowboy to put it inside his
cheek to spread out the skin. When he's finished, the
old cowboy tells the barber that was the cleanest shave
he'd had in years, but he wanted to know what would
have happened if he had accidentally swallowed the
little ball. The barber replied, just bring it back in a
couple of days like everyone else does.

What They Did Seems Impossible!

During the 3-1/2 years of World War II that started with the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in December of 1941 and ended with the surrender of Germany and Japan in 1945,

"We the People of the U.S.A. " produced the following:

22 aircraft carriers
8 battleships
48 cruisers
349 destroyers
420 destroyer escorts
203 submarines
34 million tons of merchant ships
100,000 fighter aircraft
98,000 bombers
24,000 transport aircraft
58,000 training aircraft
93,000 tanks
257,000 artillery pieces
105,000 mortars
3,000,000 machine guns and
2,500,000 military trucks

We put 16.1 million men in uniform in the various armed services, invaded Africa, invaded Sicily and Italy, won the battle for the Atlantic, planned and executed D-Day, marched across Europe and the Pacific, developed the atomic bomb and, ultimately, conquered Germany and Japan.

It's worth noting that during the almost exact amount of time, the Obama Administration couldn't even build a Health Care web site that worked. A lesson, of Professionals vs vastly inferior amateurs!....

FlatCityGirl  Years ago when Tom Brokaw's "Greatest Generation" was first released, he was on the Don Imus radio show, which was televised on MSNBC at that time. It was a great interview, and at the end, Imus asked a question that I've never forgotten: "How did a generation that whined about nothing raise a generation that whines about everything"?

FlatCityGirl  I don't know if this nation will ever be called upon to prove it, but I firmly believe that we could do it again if we had to.

Pearl Harbor notwithstanding, bailing Europe out of their troubles is what got us into the first two World Wars, and I’ve always believed that bailing Europe out again is what will get us into the next one.

Europe and Great Britain are under attack right now. Whether they recognize that fact is another matter all together. Is there a tipping point where the country/its citizens say, Enough? Or do they just continue down the PC Road and wake up one day and find that they no longer have a country and their women are not allowed to drive or show their uncovered faces in public?

Isn’t the same thing happening here?

Sooner or later, something is going to kick off another “World War.” My personal belief is that it will be Muslims who start it.

The Mulatto has ruined our relationship with most other countries in all hemispheres, while at the same time, putting the ability to wipe us out into the hands of those who wish to do so.

So far there seems to be one leader who is not allowing Muslims to take over, and that’s Putin.

Allsogreat posted on Main Page The Lobby  The young woman who submitted the
tech support message below (about her relationship to her husband ) presumably did it as a joke. Then she got a reply that was way too good to keep to herself. The tech support people's love advice was hilarious and genius!

The query:
Dear Tech Support,
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slowdown in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under
Boyfriend 5.0. In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as: NBA 5.0, NFL 3.0 and Golf Clubs 4.1.

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and House cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system. Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail. What can I do?

The response (that came weeks later out of the blue ):

Dear Desperate,
First keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Please enter command: I thought you loved me.html and try to download Tears 6.2. Do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update. If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5.

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0, or Beer 6.1. Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta version. Whatever you do, DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Mother-In-Law 1.0 as it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.

In addition, please do not attempt to re-install the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported
applications and will crash Husband 1.0. In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend Cooking 3.0.

Good Luck
