MeiDei  It would have been a daily preview in a week's time if I read it - can't comment. My friend read it and I believe she was glad she did.

Gram77 posted on Suggested Reading  Just read the last page of Only Killers and Thieves. I had hoped for a different ending, but it was the only ending there could have been. Now on to Sue Grafton's last book before her death.

Gram77 posted on Movies & Reviews  Several of us gals saw I, Tonya today. Not bad. Allison Janney did a very good job. Most of us know this story but it did show how tough Tonya's life was. There was very little kindness in her young life.

Gram77 posted on Movies & Reviews  About the Selick and Roy thing.. In Quigley Down Under, a character called Crazy Cora was a bit disturbed and she kept calling Selick Roy, thinking he was her husband. Sorry for my dumb error.

Gram77 posted on Main Page The Lobby  Good morning all. A friend sent me a little something along with a lovely personal message. The "little something" is called Little White Lies. It goes as follows, Little White Lies: One Size Fits All...You Haven't Changed A Bit...You May Experience Some Mild Discomfort...I'm Sure It Won't Stain and best of all, You Carry It Well. : )

Bettijo  My father used to say your conscious is like a sharp triangle in your chest. The first few times you lie, it turns slightly and hurts. If you keep lying, it creates a grove so that eventually when it turns you feel no pain.

Gram77 posted on Suggested Reading  While waiting for my turn to pick up Fire and Fury I am reading Only Killers and Thieves by Paul Howarth. The background is Australia in the 1800s, a country I have always been very interested in.

Gram77 posted on Movies & Reviews  Nice surprise on TCM today. An old movie taken from a rather old book; The Valley Decision. Anyone seen it or read the book? Think I will check out the library for this one. Even on Amazon it's a bit expensive.
