Hazymac

Hazymac posted on Main Page The Lobby  Thanks, Wrightwinger, for the link to Greenberg's excellent column. I have posted it on Lucianne.com. Incidentally, my friends here can reach me at trotskysiceax@aol.com. If I know you, I might respond.

Hazymac posted on Main Page The Lobby  In my saved e-mail file there are many from Kevin, and I'm so glad I saved them. Most of you have probably seen the cute pictures from East Africa in which two grown cheetahs groom a baby impala, which just sits there impassively being unaccountably loved on by animals that would almost always make the juvenile impala their prey. Kevin responded with the following: "Ambush setup! That impala is gonna be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SCREWED next time he sees a cat, and wanders over for a kiss."

None of us will ever forget our friend Kevin, but, as I wrote earlier, in the Lord's good time we'll all be together in New Jerusalem. Our getting to know each other on this earth is just the preparation for knowing each other in eternity. God is good all the time.

Lana720  Hazy, I always look for your posts! Kevin had such a great sense of humor, all the while knowing what is really important! God IS good all the time. I like that a lot.

Hazymac posted on Main Page The Lobby  Kevin was the first LDotter with whom I corresponded outside the site, and he was the conduit to my dear friendships with several others on this site, notably thelmalou, veritas, and 49Ford. He was the central figure in our little group, the one who united us. As one who was the oldest child of three and who never had an older sibling, I looked up to him as a wiser, braver, more experienced, more grounded role model who had been under fire and survived, and who would not hesitate to advise me when I needed it and sought it. In this lifetime I had hoped to meet Kevin face to face, to shake his hand, and tell him how much his friendship has meant to me. Now I'm telling my brothers and sisters on this site, certain that meeting Kevin personally is delayed for only a little while, and that when that meeting finally happens, we'll always live close by each other. I think the Good Lord allowed us to become acquainted because He intends for us spend eternity together. Semper fi, Kevin. May the Lord bless and keep you. There'll never be another like you.

Shimmer128  All these comments about Kevin are bringing tears to my eyes. All I could say at first is NO, no, no!
I never had the pleasure of meeting Cap, but we corresponded, and talked on the phone many times. He helped me through the hardest time of my life, when I split up from my beloved (username ) Letaka, the love of my life. I am so very thankful that I was able to call him some months ago and tell him that I was actually living through my losses and coming out the other side. He and I rejoiced together. He prayed for me regularly and I appreciated him so, so much. Kevin. I miss you already. ;(

Hazymac posted on Main Page The Lobby  I send my love and condolences to the entire Goldberg family. It was a total pleasure to have corresponded with Joshua over the past few year. Always the gentleman, his heart and mind were together and in the right place. The good Lord put us together on this earth so we'd know with whom we'd be spending forever after. Our separation from those we love is temporary.
