Ynaught Is it just me, or does anyone else have a problem with a 65 year old Secretary of State wearing a pony tail while conducting high level negotiations?

Surfhut Pretty much the same problem I had with a 45 year old woman on the campaign trail to be First Lady, wearing a plastic headband and snarking at women who chose to stay at home with their children and bake cookies.

MMC Well... A nice hair color, clean, cut... Can pull a pony tail off any age.
However, as a representative of the USA, a more professional look is in order.
One would think Huma would advise her better..

Bettijo I know times and styles have changed, but I remember well Jackie Kennedy's hair stylist, Joseph, I think his name was, said no woman over 40 should wear her hair touching her shoulders I have applied that rule to my own life (and hair ). Hillary has aged at least 10 years over the last four years. Look at her eyes, lines, etc., however, she could look five years younger if she would have her hair cut in a short, stylish bob. Hillary should travel with a talented hair stylist, like Michelle Obama.

Balogreene I have been told that about long hair since I was 40. One of the women at work, over 50, has beautiful long hair she wears down with a headband. I have baby fine hair that won't hold a style, I keep it long, and wear a topknot almost every day. I am 60. Both of us would look horrible with short hair. I like Hillary's hair pulled back. It looks like she's working hard, rolling up her sleeves and getting that pesky hair out of her way. Personally I don't think her face would be enhanced with a bob. And, maybe it's like mine, would have to be restyled multiple times a day. A hardworking woman doesn't have time for that.

BirdsNest As a representative of this country she should pay more attention to her grooming. When her hair is clean it is very pretty, actually the best looking part about her, but when it is greasy she looks shabby. I feel certain that it is in her budget to have someone style her hair, even Mad Maddie had styled hair all the time. I am soon to be (gasp! ) 62. I work like a fiend every day and I have long hair that I keep in a pony tail or in a bun. My hair is baby fine and won't hold the first thought of a curl, so a pony tail keeps it out of my face. I haven't worn it down for over 20 yrs. I think it looks awful that way. I am satisfied with it and really my animals don't care what I look like as long I feed them on time. And Hagar always lies and tells me I look beautiful.

Rollingcow Years ago Mr. Cow told me that if I ever cut my hair short he'd divorce me. After nearly 36 years I still wear my hair long and in a braid-I'm saving the haircut for a special occasion.

Yottyhere I always had thick hair. When females in the late 70's,80's and early 90's cut their hair short mine grew in thick and long….I wore a Gibson girl type hair-do….not very modern but it fit my personality…… Comes High Blood Pressure….we tried 8 different meds…my body couldn't tolerate them…..found one I could tolerate and it made my hair fall out…..
My hair ….I think ask Buzzard…is maybe an inch …maybe 1 and ½ inches long…..cut in a very boy-style hair cut…..to get a very good boy style hair cut on a female head…that looks good….it was hard to find someone….I will follow her forever.
Short hair is fun and easy (once you find someone that can cut it to YOUR head ) I miss my ultra sissy female hair piled on top of my head ….life is a biotch….
