MeiDei  Warden won't buy it : ) but I thank you for posting as it brought back memories from the distant past. As a big city kid I knew nothing about deer hunting. On one of my first jobs in another State, the men were discussing how they could only shoot a buck, never a doe - I asked how they could tell the difference from a distance & if it was behind bushes ... (turned red faced from the looks on theirs ). I just recall it had something to do with points on its antlers - up close in my yard the daddy appears to be physically larger than the doe. We might not see any deer as there are so many packs of coyotes in the area it has made headline news in print and radio/TV - seems unlikely they'll be around long enough to compare antlers : )
