Crafts

Timber Queen  I embroider. Absolutely everyone I know has a pillow, bureau scarf, or a set of pillow cases and I ran out people to give small projects. Last year I tried my first big project and did this altar cloth. It was our Christmas gift to the parish. The Timber King found the design, helped pick out the colors, and donated his military map light box to the cause (for the transfer of the design onto the cloth. )

I want to do a tablecloth for next year's parish fundraiser silent auction. I'm looking for designs. We do a Wine Festival and the theme should be grapes and vines. Suggestions welcomed.

Such talent on display here on this board. Its so neat to see the beautiful crafts and the variety of mediums from our fellow/sister Ldotters. This is going to be fun.

MeiDei  Lovely! As for designs try some from stained glass patterns. Strange as it may seem even some coloring or wallpaper books have designs that can be adapted. Border designs can be found throughout most women's magazines too, & check your illustrated cookbooks. You obviously have a keen eye & patience.
