Escaped commieny posted on Main Page The Lobby There is a Tornado Relief fund that gives 100% to the victims. At this time 10am, 157,383 donations. http://mercuryone.fundly.com/2013-midwest-tornado-relief Yes, it is Beck. But from personal experience of 4 hurricanes and 1 tornado, FEMA is worthless and the Red Cross spends too much on administration costs. When our neighborhood was flattened, who showed up ? On our street, a father with 4 sons came with their chainsaws and cleared, guess where they came from, OKLAHOMA, so they will get my money and blood donations. Mercury was also the first to arrive when Sandy hit NY/NJ

Ynaught Thanks, EC! I got my donation in and the total is well over 600k now.
Montanabound I occasionally see electrical workers here in OK wearing T-shirts indicating they volunteered in Florida during that awful hurricane season. I remember flying into Orlando many months later and thinking "wow, a lot of people have swimming pools". Upon getting closer, I realized they were tarps on the roofs of a majority of houses.

Escaped commieny posted on Blessings It was a Blessing today to receive from our main site 'pest' Ramona, the CD'S from Kevin's Memorial Service. I still have a hole in my heart from his passing, but it was a wonderful service. So Thanks Ramona! As Pastor said, Kevin our Cap Marine was bigger than life and gave so much to so many.
Escaped commieny posted on Faith Kailee’s husband Justin paid one last tribute to her (The Last Watch 1/2hr ) which may have been the hardest thing he could possibly do. . He stood by her thru thick and thin , in sickness and in death with such grace. We are so grateful to him. Thank you for your prayers and support for our family.

Escaped commieny posted on Main Page The Lobby The Gipper "[Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher] demonstrated two great qualities. The first was that she had thought seriously about how to revive the British economy and entered office with a clear set of policies to do so. She brought down inflation by controlling the money supply, and she began removing the controls, subsidies, and regulations that kept business lazy. Her second great quality was the true grit of a true Brit (or perhaps I should say, of a true-blue Brit ). We both realized that our policies wouldn't solve such deep-rooted problems overnight. The first effects, in the world recession of 1981-82, were painful. I remember meeting her in Washington at a time when people in both our countries were calling for a change of course. She never wavered. And she was proved right by events. ... Margaret Thatcher -- this great lady has not only served her country well, she has served the free world well. She is truly a great statesman. So much so that I'll correct what I just said: She is a great stateswoman holding her own among all the statesmen of the world." --Ronald Reagan
