Fireball27 posted on Main Page The Lobby I heard about this on the radio, actor Shia LaBeouf appearing on the Leno show in 2008. He was touting his new movie, and began talking about the FBI consultant to the movie. He says the FBI guy told him that the government had recording of peoples phone calls. When LaBeouf said no way, the guy played a recorded phone call of LaBeouf from two years earlier. This is 5 years ago! And it was mentioned on Television. Where are the reporters with the inquiring minds?

Bettijo I don't believe for a minute that the government isn't recording our phone calls and reading (or storing ) our emails. Think of the implications this could have on future elections when all they need to do to compromise an opponent is report something private they learned through this illegal eavesdropping. Remember how "private," and in some cases "sealed court documents" were suddenly made public when advantageous to candidate Obama? Yes, I think they are compiling all this data to use it against us.

Fireball27 posted on Main Page The Lobby There's another example of media bias in today's paper. The AP reports about the little girl that needs the lung transplant. They tell about how her parents took her case to court and a judge said she gets to go on the adult lung list. There is no mention that the reason she had to be on a child transplant list in the first place is no longer valid. The technology has changed since they made the transplant rules. She still might not make it, but at least she has a chance. The AP also didn't mention that Kathleen Sebelius made the comment that "some people live, and some people die". That has got to be one of the most callous things ever said about a dying 10 year old. She should be ashamed. And the media still covers for this administration.

Fireball27 posted on Main Page The Lobby What to do, what to do? It is now starting to get out that Benghazi was an administration run program to get weapons to the Libyans fighting the government. It is also coming out that the media has been covering for the administration. We here have known all along that this was a terrorist attack. Now what can we do about it?
We have to make sure everyone we know, is brought up to speed on how this story has been handled by the media. Make sure everyone knows that the fact that our people were left to be slaughtered, is only a part of the story. The point I want to get across is the complete assistance the media has been giving the Obama administration, by not covering, or slanting the "news" about Benghazi.
Here is where I think we can make a difference. If we contact local companies who advertise in the media, and ask them why we would believe anything about their product or service, if they do business with such lying media companies? Ask why would you associate your product or service with people who are so blatantly "truth adverse"? Doing this may not make much difference, but it will give us some sense of at least trying to do something, and may make some people who haven't been paying attention wake up. If we ask questions to the people who supply the media with money from advertising, maybe we can have an effect on the media's bottom line.

A class action suit against the teams and schools etc. I think the reason players are killing themselves are because of the performance enhancing drugs they have taken. Soon liberals will decide that since automobile accidents are the main cause of death in children, they will require all children to wear full hockey gear to ride in a car.
After all "if it saves just one life", as the president says about guns, it will be worth it. Right?

One says to the other, lets throw something in and listen to hear when it hits the bottom. They see an old transmission nearby and together push it over the edge into the hole. Just then they hear a rustling in the bushes, and a goat comes running out real fast and dives head first right into the hole. Startled, they wonder what the heck? Then a farmer comes up and asks if they have seen his goat? Yes! It just ran out of those bushes and dove head first into that hole! That's impossible the farmer says, it was chained to a transmission.

Wouldn't that be where they would be feeling perfectly safe? After all there wouldn't be any right wing gun nuts there. Just ask them if they are for only the police and military having weapons.
There was a Jackyln Smith movie once, where she was a lawyer for a convict. The convict killed a guy in the prison, and claimed self defense. She wanted to introduce as evidence, the "goodie box" (weapons confiscated from prisoners ) but the judge wouldn't let her. So she dropped the box on the floor in front of the jury, so all the weapons spilled out on the floor. My point is, in a place where no weapons of any kind are allowed, no guns, no knives, etc., these people will find a way to make do with whatever will kill or maim whoever they want.

Bettijo My church has a day care for Alzheimer's patients. The patients love coming. Many in my Sunday School volunteer there and they say there are lots of planned activities for these folks. I am going to send one of them this link. It might be something they would be interested in investigating. Thanks.

Labrador Heaven fabulous idea....I wish they'd been around when we had my grandmother at home w/ us - she would've loved it, esp. all her travel photos with her closest friends over the years. Well, at least I know she's now with all them again! This needs to be shared with more care facilities - sending an introductory email and then the link above to Directors of Nursing @ ECFs, assisted living centers, corporately and individually-owned.
