Rake King Dripping with dew and a vibrant color...this one wins a prize. I was thinking an award of film would have been a great award in the past, except today one would use a tiny card. Times they are a Changing'.

Griefs2bear posted on Main Page The Lobby Our cat Velvet should have been named Ruth judging by her habit. She follows me everywhere I go and gets personally involved in my projects. Note the black furry blob on my right knee. She really likes to be near the vibrations while I'm practicing. http://youtu.be/UngkyAYvy7U

Eagles Dominion Balo... it has changed so much since I drove through there in the summer of '66. Still beautiful but far from the wonderful place it was then. :-(

Balogreene ED, I left Albuquerque in '88. It's grown a bunch, the West has changed, but it is still beautiful, and the weather in ABQ was perfection.

Eagles Dominion LOL Can't even begin to count the number of times I drove that road. :- )

Rake King It is so real-like, you expect John Wayne and a troop of blue coats to come riding at you. I know...they didn't have highways, but remove that and it works. Also no "signbords" or "wind turbines" to obstruct the view.

Eagles Dominion Both G2B... You know that there really aren't many paved roads in the entire state of AZ. and everyone I hung around with all had 4X4s and Quads! :- ) Spent a lot of nights under the stars camping both in the desert and the mountains. I really enjoy your photos because they bring back many memories. LOL

Eagles Dominion Rake most people who live in the cities and in states that only allow you to go camping in designated ares haven't got a clue! AZ. is mostly state owned and you can camp anywhere, the only requirement is you close the cattle gates after yourself. :- ) Az. is an extremely diverse state geographically speaking. People tend to think of it as all desert and sand, nothing could be further from the truth!

Griefs2bear posted on Photography The Agave ocahui are blooming now. One nearby road has them planted on both sides and down the median. They are a gorgeous bright yellow sight to see. Look on the enlarged photo and you can see many along the road side. http://www.delange.org/AgaveOcahui/AgaveOcahui.htm

Griefs2bear The Ocotillo on left side get to be 12' to 15' tall. The Saquaro in background can be 30' tall. I'd guess these are about 20' tall.
