Kansam posted on Main Page The Lobby  OMG! The World must be coming to an end! I just read a headline on DRUDGE that I totally AGREE WITH! The woman is usually the fount of Moronic Statements, but this time I would agree...Where the (DNC is comncerned )
"...[Debbie]Wasserman-Schultz:
"It Would Be Nice If We Had A Candidate for President Who Was Committed To America"..."
All that could be added as a comment is "AMEN"

Kansam posted on Main Page The Lobby  KanSam: First Post here. So if I screw it up, sorry in advance. I have been Searching on L.com for anything about HR3011"Transportation Security Administration Authorization Act of 2011” I am afraid the Administration in the guise of Security is pulling a fast one. The text of the bill is linked here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h112-3011
Sction 295, IMHO seems to be the most troublesome part for me, as it adds all the TSA related agencies to the US CODE sec.709/title 18:
"...SEC. 295. PROTECTION OF THE NAMES FEDERAL AIR MARSHAL AND ADMINISTRATION..."
My concern is that it COULD be used to attack anyone who might make fun of the TSA or it people (J-nap, for instance )

THe US Codes provides the following:"...Shall be punished as follows: a corporation, partnership, business trust, association, or other business entity, by a fine under this title; an officer or member thereof participating or knowingly acquiescing in such violation or any individual violating this section, by a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both..."
Since the TSA has been portrayed in its manifest incompetence around these sites more than ones. I just wonder if this is a tool for the US Attorney to go after anyone they seem to see fit in attacking?

Struan  And this Bill was introduced and sponsored by all Republicans?!
"Mr. ROGERS of Alabama (for himself, Mr. KING of New York, Mr. DANIEL E. LUNGREN of California, Mr. WALBERG, Mr. CRAVAACK, and Mr. BROOKS ) introduced the following bill;"

Kansam posted on Main Page The Lobby  Coy; Much ado about nothing. Professionally done, and the results can be very helpful. My fisrt one was done while I watched the procedure on a monitor. The next were done under light anesthetic atV.A. NO problems!

Bettijo  I agree with Kansam. Having had NO symptoms, I ended up in ER in 2000, hemorrhaging internally from colon cancer. After having a section of colon removed, I had to have a colonoscopy every year for five years, then every other year, now it is every third year. Although I don't look forward to this procedure, neither do I remember much about it afterwards. Believe me; its reputation is worse than its reality. You WILL survive! And, in 2000, I had never had a colonoscopy...if I had; I might have avoided abdominal surgery. Just do it! The last one I had, the doctor was running late and while I was lying on my side on the table waiting I could see the blood pressure monitor which was constantly taking my BP. I concentrated on making the numbers on the monitor go down. This kept me from projecting to the procedure before me and helped me relax. I actually got my BP down 10 points by mind control.

Gerty  Miss Bettijo, I am so happy to hear from an adult who can prove that mind control not only exists, but works! The ability to 'think' yourself into a better mental state is something for which we should all strive. Why not? Most of us have been thinking ourselves into worse mental states for a long time.

DONAL  I'm looking forward to the day some adults can 'think' themselves into a kind mental state for which we should all strive...

Of course, most of us who've been in the hospital time and time again use our mental powers to endure uncomfortable tests, and deal with our fears--that's a given. Those same powers do not have a good track record of healing or curing the conditions which those tests point to and which are jeopardizing our health. If they did, we'd have no need of doctors and the abdominal surgeries surgeons offer in such cases as Bettijo's--or any other.

Pre-test anxiety is manageable--having a negative diagnoses that's confirmed--and debilitating--is something else altogether. I'm glad there was something they could do for you, Bettijo; I'll keep praying for your continued healing and good health. ;- )

Sis2011  'Thinking ourselves into a better mental state' - and children do it, too, not just adults - is helped along by good friends that encourage us and offer us their support . It's called 'kindness' and 'compassion'.

Under-the-table digs at someone ill will never help them.
Chiding them because they are not as 'strong' as you've determined they 'should' be is about as far from doing a good thing as I've ever seen.

We never know what someone else is going through. The Godly path is one of not arrogance but love.

DONAL  Thank you Sis2011--I agree. That was well put.
