Losgatos posted on Main Page The Lobby Just watching the Obama campaign ad. It's supposed to be a Memorial Day tribute to vets but they've managed to ruin it. The One's hair has turned grey overnight...just for the occasion. Biden had to tell his wife to put her hand over her heart for the Star Spangled Banner. We're told by Panetta and Hagel that NO ONE has EVER done more for vets than The One and The Mooch. It's just beyond disgusting. The highlight for me was when The One and his wife were introduced almost on one applauded. Only the dems on the stage.

Browneyes Where was Spielberg? Never have I witnessed a more Choreographed or scripted display. Using our honored Veterans as backdrop for this president's "move forward" is disgraceful.

Nobo2012 I tried Kaspersky and didn't like it. You have to keep paying every year or it nags you to subscribe. AVG is good, but I use Avast. Haven't had a virus incident since I installed it. After a few years, I upgraded to the paid version to get the extra features, but the free version is all most people need.

Wattkid If you have Windows, use Microsoft Security Essentials. I use it on four computers. It's free. It works. Its operation is transparent. It doesn't require tweaking just install it and go. Avoids the problems when non-Microsoft anti-virus programs get out of synch with Windows updates.

Betty Jean I agree on Microsoft Security Essentials. Also, I used AVG for years and pretty much had no problems. However, around the end of last year and beginning of this year I picked up some pretty nasty Trojans and not sure how they got in.

Bob913 AVG works great. It will also protect you from going to websites that are listed as bad in the blacklist they keep.
I work in Help Desk and the thousands of pc's on the company network get infected way too much. They use McAfee anti-virus/anti-spyware. So I don't!

It all seems to be quite beside the point. Most especially Shepard Smith. Makes me want to remind old Shep of the time he ran into the woman in the parking in a fit of sheer pique.

I felt so sorry for them that I emailed them requesting they remove any info they have on me and that while they're at it they can remove me from their email lists since I will NEVER use them again.

Rake King When you write off 25,000,000 Limbaugh listeners, your advertising plan crashes and burns. I don't think too much of their C.E.O. Rush has always been a Mac promoter, which means his audience is ripe for Carbonite's services...only now, NO MORE. That premature decision would also prompt me to sell their shares...which many others did sending it down.

Bridgewaterken I enrolled in Carbonite about two weeks ago. I went to their website today and "chatted" with one of their reps, and I asked her to cancel my subscription. She was very courteous and helpful, and then she asked why I was cancelling. When I told her about my disgust with Carbonite caving into and organized left effort to damage Rush, she changed her tone (written tone ) and said that "at the present time they are not cancelling any subscriptions, and that I would have to contact legal@carbonite.com." I asked her what she meant by saying "at the present time...." and all she would respond was to contact their legal dept.I have done so, but have not heard back from them. Their Legal dept. must be very busy if they have to handle cancellations at the present time!

What I want to know is why isn't he running around the southeast stopping these tornadoes? Where is he? Doing fundraisers. Where is the media? How many have died? How many died in Katrina? Losgatos I'll be interested to hear Texmom. I haven't been big on chicken pasta since my ex-best friend (who couldn't boil water) got it at Costco and it was delicious. Then she started getting it every week...then she decided she'd figured out how to make it and wanted to make it every week. I began to HATE it...LOL. Haven't seen her in four years though so I'm ready to try a version of chicken pasta again!!!

7generationTexmom haha Losgatos! It's funny how you get burned out and it takes soo long to get interested again. But, why doesn't it work that way with ice cream or nachos??
It was wonderful! I used spagetti bc I didn't have the correct shape. And tonight, I put the leftovers in a pot of boiled chicken and made Cajun/Chicken Noodle soup. I added a sauteed bell pepper and an onion and it was great!
