M Stuart posted on Main Page The Lobby I need site(s ) of information. Houston County Board of Education in Perry, GA has decided to unilaterally disarm about Christianity in schools. The school year kicked off with all of the employees with NO prayer. They said that it was because of the Wisconsin lawsuit. They also said that FL had fought it and lost, so no mention of Christianity could be done.
Even the Fellowship of Christian Athletes was told not to mention Christ. A trip to an amusement park by a club was almost canceled because a musical group was going to be performing and was possibly inspirational!
Who has the information to provide to BOE's to let us know what our rights are? We are angry. Teachers are silly liberals who roll over and play dead when anyone mentions controversy. They are very concerned that we might accidentally upset muslims or non-religious people, but they take Christianity for granted.
I have sat through Christmas concerts for three years which very carefully sung about reindeer, snow, and Santa. I have sat through STUPID "green" concerts where the music glorified earth worship. What is happening?
Surfhut I'm looking forward to Cheney's book, too. That ought to be a real doozy.
