Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  I am perplexed as to why the liberal news outlets bemoan the horrific killing of all the children by the Syrians etc and yet continue to elect pro-abortion politicians. I suspect they can spin some reason for being for and against the same position.

Kono  Because to them the will of the mother decides whether the baby is really a life? People who reject the idea of God as stupid are some of the first to ascribe Godlike powers to the human will. (Ability to create life and change sex with the flip of a thought... )

GO3  For a mother to be pro-abortion she must not only view her desires above God, but she must also think of the child as nothing more than a tumor as an extension of her body rather than a new life relying on the mother for support. She is not only spiritually devoid, but also scientifically ignorant.

Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  Football is a serious sport in Texas, and yet has a sympathetic side.

Cherokee has a big sign in town (? ) proclaiming 6 man football championships in '73 '75 '78.

Iraan is a city in Pecos County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,229 at the 2010 census. It was named for Ira and Ann Yates, owners of the ranch land upon which the town was built.

The site
is about one of this years championship games.

StormCnter  Iraan is home country for my family. My mother graduated from Iraan high school, my uncle established the town's first bank, my dad had a gas station in 1933. It's a place full of good people and stout hearts. And a very good football team, too. Anyone pronouncing the town's name correctly (eye-ra-ann ) gets a smile. Natives say (eye-ry-ann ).
Thanks for posting this, Jack.

Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  I just was reading where some GOP'ers want Romney to apologize to Trump for the disparaging things he said during the debates. I ask -- why would any sincere respectable man have to be told/asked to apologize for his actions?
To me it wouldn't be heartfelt. Something like say anything to get the Secy of State job.
Trump does not need this type of snake on his team.

GO3  I agree. For what Romney did I would let him apologize, then later in the day I'd name someone else as SoS. If Romney's apology was sincere, he's be magnanimous about the appointment and not whine about it.

Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  Just wondering --
Obama's closest advisor is Valery Jarrett.
Hillary's closest advisor is Huma Abedin.
Who is America's enemy in this "war".

Our enemy is a branch of the Muslin religion.
Are Jarrett and Abedin connected with any Muslims?

It doesn't make sense to me -- so why would anyone vote for Hillary who relies on Abedin for guidance unless they are pro Muslim and therefore pro Sharia?

Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  Those pseudo sanctimonious people who say the will not now vote for Trump because of a locker room joke are willing to trade a very common occurrence for a liberal socialistic Supreme Court, a corrupt DOJ, etc and forgoing Americanism. I do not get it. How can the two be weighed against each other?

Paul Ryan is the prime example. I suppose he has never told an off color joke or forwarded an off color email? He was just looking for an excuse to push the establishment liberal agenda and he picked a very weak item. He would rather turn the presidency over to a vile mouthed, ill tempered socialist who berates and chastises the very people who are tasked to protect her.

No, I do not see the trade off.

Lonestar Jack  When the highest elected Republican in Congress does not fully support the overwhelming choice of the Republican electorate who he is supposed to represent I say he has pulled his support. Paul Ryan bleeds Establishment and should be a true Republican and bow out leaving his personal feelings behind. Party first and personal last!!

Tulsa  Dr. Krauthammer had an interesting comment on Fox Special Report tonite. He said perhaps both Roberts and Comey chose not to be the ones to make history.

Dr. K. did not elaborate, but I believe he meant: Roberts case let Congress and/or the next President fix insurance and in Comey's case not changing the dnc party nominee at this late date.

Lonestar Jack posted on Main Page The Lobby  Fact: The FBI is pleading their case to have Apple make all emails sent from an iPhone to be readable by them.

Fact: The FBI has accumulated almost 2,000 super secret emails that the possession thereof on an unsecured server or the transmitting over unsecured networks is a major felony bordering on treason.

I ask you what have they done about these emails. Have they jerked the clearances of anybody pending the outcome of their investigation? Have they indicted anyone? Is anyone under house arrest or incarcerated? Are we still paying their salaries or pensions?

Is Director Comely really a stand up non political guy like the pundits have been touting or a bungling ball-less puppet of the Jarrett-Obama-Lynch cabal? In 6 years of being Secy of State Hillary must have emailed her boss at least once -- it has never appeared in the email dumps and that might be the holdup.

If arch criminal Hillary gets elected what will happen to her email case?

Where of where has the Bergdahl verdict gone?
What is his current ranks and pay grade?
Is he spending time in the stockade?

Question that need answers for this old 82nd Airborne sergeant.

You're talking to someone whose grade-school ambition was to be the first woman Air Force pilot! Who, by some awful twist of fate, today refuses to get on a plane for ANY reason!

   Safetydude  Ms Gerty,
I retired from the AF as a senior NCO, so when you referred to Lonestar, also an NCO, as 'sir' I was reminded of an old rejoinder; 'don't call me Sir, my parents were married', which alludes to Officers, who are addressed as Sir, as not being born to married parents which made them bas**rds. The other response was; 'don't call me Sir, I work for a living'.
As for jumping out of an airplane...I'll pass.
