MeiDei posted on Movies & Reviews  I watched this the other night, not something I would normally view but it wasn't disappointing - 2007 movie - Name movie & lead actor if you can.

"The fate of humanity is at stake when two races of robots, the good Autobots and the villainous Decepticons, bring their war to Earth. The robots have the ability to change into different mechanical objects as they seek the key to ultimate power. Only a human youth, Sam Witwicky can save the world from total destruction"

GO3  I'd say Transformers with Shia Lebeuf.

MeiDei posted on Movies & Reviews  As mentioned below here is the trailer for "Rush Hour 3" - there's a simple sentence that says much more than the words spoken - see if you agree ; )

Mike PHX  Mei, I tried watching that. It was beyond dreck.
You know how Hollywood pitches like "Star Wars Meets Battlestar Galactica" and all that crap?
This is "History Channel 2 Meets Syfy"
Wednesday at 03:16 EST .

MeiDei  I watched initially because Sean Bean had a leading role & I became invested in the story (then read all the books ). I stayed with it through all. This year, however, I just can't get an interest up & was wondering if others felt the same. Thx much for your response.

MeiDei posted on Movies & Reviews  2007 action/comedy movie. Name the movie & stars:

"East meets West again [ 3rd time] when the assassination of Ambassador Han leads to the reunion of Lee and Carter.. In Paris, the pair must stay one step ahead of Chinese gangsters, and Lee's childhood friend (Hiroyuki Sanada ), as they track down an envelope containing the identity of a powerful crime lord".

MeiDei  With some types of movies (with same cast ) it's been said "if you've seen one you've seen them all" such has been reported about Jackie Chan movies (above with Chis Tucker ).
This is from "Rush Hour 3" and I found it funny w/a few good surprises - enough to take the edge off the days somber news.

I'll post a trailer above of part of the closing scene.

StormCnter  I wonder if Ladd had to stand on a box again for his scenes with Dahl. She was fairly tall.

Tulsa  Searched and found this:Humphrey Bogart was 5'8" but he was concerned that audiences would notice that he was smaller than Ingrid Bergman, his co-star in Casablanca. In some scenes, Bergman was told to slouch down on a sofa – with Bogart sitting on extra cushions – to level up their heights.

The Forties film noir star Actor Alan Ladd (5'6" ), who was born on September 3, 1913, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, would sometimes stand on a box to appear taller than his female co-stars. Other tricks of the trade were to make actresses wear ballerina shoes in scenes next to short actors and tall leading ladies would sometimes stand in specially dug trenches to make them appear shorter on film. Studios would also build different sets and film short actors in the sets that made them appear taller – using shorter door frames for example.

MeiDei  Post/delete is me, spell check doesn't always catch missing T or U or C and any other key missing it's button or getting stuck due to high humidity - so if I catch it after posting I delete as soon as possible & repost. In this case however, the "S" was missing from "movies" which would have made someone think all 3 came from the same movie - you both have correctly identified the 3 different ones ,,, nice team work.

Tulsa  What happens with me is I post and nothing happens. No 'circle' showing the page is considering posting my comment, so I hit comment again.

I didn't get 'I see dead people.' I saw the movie on tv. Had a child and I think Bruce Willis. Cannot remember the name.

Last walkin, Mei, was Unforgiven with Clint in 1992. Then it was video stores. Then they went away. And the company was so busy moving us, all I did was unpack and put in yards and decorate. For instance 4 moves in 8 yrs in South Carolina alone.

I haven't seen a fraction of the movies offered. But this is truly fun. I'm learning what I missed and what I didn't! lol

That's a line spoken by Frodo in book two of "The Lord Of The Ring's" trilogy, "The Two Towers". I don't know if it's in the movie, as well.
The line here my be taken from another movie...
