MeiDei The graves of a Protestant woman and her Catholic husband. The Protestant-Catholic cemeteries were separated by a wall, which couldn’t stop this couple from being together even in death. Click on the picture to make it bigger - note the holding hands

MeiDei Here you go Gram, the People of WalMart website - captioned & tells the State when it can. http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/ Sadly, looking at these is akin to watching a fire - can't take your eyes away, can't stand the disaster : )

FlatCityGirl My son stands around in WalMart with his phone taking photos of the freaks. He prefers shopping in the middle of the night when there are no crowds, and here in Lubbock, if you like a "floor show," the perfect time to go to WalMart is around 2:30am, when the bars close. We've never been able to figure out why, but for some reason, all of the drunks gravitate to WalMart, and I'm telling you, it's more fun than enough to just stand around and watch. We have four WalMart Super Centers here in town and they are all open 24 hours a day. You can go to any one of them in the middle of night and watch the drunks.
My favorite was the black gal who weighed in at around 375, decked out [right hand to God] in the most gussied up, blinged up, skin tight short skirt and halter top, gobs of fat hanging from everywhere on her body, and 5" stiletto heels. So drunk she could barely stand, with a boyfriend who wasn't much less drunk, but sober enough at least to help prop her up.
My only question was, where on earth did someone like that find a boyfriend? The guy was young and not half bad looking. She must have been rich is all I can figure.
I'm not even heavy/over weight, and I wouldn't go to the mailbox at midnight in shorts, much less out in public.
Sometimes you just have to shake your head and walk away.

Bettijo Facts change all the time. Smoking has gone from doctor-recommended to deadly. We used to think Earth was the center of the universe and that Pluto was a planet. For decades we were convinced that the brontosaurus was a real dinosaur. In short, what we know about the world is constantly changing. But it turns out there's an order to the state of knowledge, an explanation for how we know what we know. Knowledge in most fields evolves systematically and predictably, and this evolution unfolds in a fascinating way that can have a powerful impact on our lives.
