StormCnter I'm just finishing Kate Anderson's book "The Residence", which is primarily about the people who keep the White House operating and meet the First Family's needs. There is quite a bit about the First Children. It's an interesting trip "behind the stairs".

StormCnter On the National Journal photos, the Johnson girls are identified in reverse. Lucy is on the left and Lynda on the right.
MeiDei Just read some of the comments after - amazing, one was moved to write that "0 cut the deficit by more than 700 billion" - but fails to understand how much he grew the debt by trillions. There seems to be confusion about the terms - debt and deficit; living in the today with no thought of tomorrow. Every HS graduate should be required to understand Economics & not Paul Krugar's version.
StormCnter That dress is prettier from the back than the front. Don't her advisers know that little weights should be sewn into the hem of full skirts? Or that maybe a lightweight fabric isn't the best choice? I feel a little sorry for Michelle. Not many of her clothing efforts are successful. I liked the yellow dress she wore on the first day in Japan.
