GO3  If you haven't been to The Archive of American Television http://www.emmytvlegends.org/ I highly recommend it. It has interviews with actors, directors, creators, etc. of all of your favorite TV shows. It's a wealth of historical information.

MeiDei  I watched initially because Sean Bean had a leading role & I became invested in the story (then read all the books ). I stayed with it through all. This year, however, I just can't get an interest up & was wondering if others felt the same. Thx much for your response.

GO3  Please movie makers, no more Medieval fantasy, women-wielding sword and battleaxe, dragon, sorcerer crap. Even Jeff Bridges got roped into one of these stinkers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1121096/?ref

Just. please. stop.

Gram77  Boy, did I get lucky last night! I don't venture much into the odd channels on TV but in poking around last night looking for something that wasn't a rerun I clicked on PBS+ and the opera Turandot was just starting. I don't see much posted here about opera but I cut my teeth on classical and opera so this was a real treat. Poor hubby retreated to the bedroom where there was another TV.

Jerico  My brother and I have been watching British shows. The last is LINE OF DUTY. We are on the 4th season and it has been great. Of course their season might only be 6 or 8 episodes. Just mystery with language that doesn't sound as bad in a British accent.

Tulsa  Yes. I like Weatherly better in Bull than NCIS, don't you.

Finally, Page? Paige? and Walter admit their love and they're 'Marooned'. It's Gilligan's Island all over again. heh.

BirdsNest  So tell me, has anyone seen "The Departed"? With a goodly number of recognizable actors. A Scorcese film. Very bloody. I watched the whole movie. It was okay. A bit draggy in some areas. Accents seemed to switch on and off.

GO3  Where I live our TV programming is about one year behind those shown to you in the civilized tribes. Therefore, I just saw the Guy Martin Special on the Last Flight of the Vulcan Bomber. This Brit mainstay of the Cold War was cutting edge for it's day having been developed in the early 50s. I was lucky enough to see one go through its paces at an airshow in the States in the mid-70s; very impressive. So if you haven't seen it already, try to catch the rerun.
