Your posting in Lucianne.com reminded me of another instance in the book. This is about an Army officer sentenced to labor in the Gulags. He manages to seize a rifle from a guard then kills the guard and another couple of guards and then he escapes to the wilderness. They send troops after him, but before they overtake and kill him the officer manages to kill a few more. I salute the man for his desire to be free and his willingness to try to take out his oppressors.
I am really beginning to fear for our nation. Some of the leftist blogs are talking about rebellion and civil war. Some are already committing acts of violence. A few farmers in my area have mink farms. They have been attacked, mink have been freed and cages destroyed.
I hope we have people willing to die for freedom rather than living as slaves.
