   Ole buzzard  The entire operating roster of the Cass Scenic Railroad is seen in this photo at the shop of this impressive West Virginia logging railroad turned tourist railroad. From left, Shay No. 11, Western Maryland Shay No. 6, No. 5, and No. 4 lettered as she was in 1961 for the proposed Cass, Cheat, Greenbrier, and Bald Knob Scenic Railroad.    Eagles Dominion  Balo... it has changed so much since I drove through there in the summer of '66. Still beautiful but far from the wonderful place it was then. :-(

   Balogreene  ED, I left Albuquerque in '88. It's grown a bunch, the West has changed, but it is still beautiful, and the weather in ABQ was perfection.

   Ole buzzard  Yes, it was, Surf. There were big celebrations at Grand Central Station in New York and Union Station in Chicago, as well as other locations across the country. At Grand Central, there was something like 25 privately owned passenger cars gathered. I sure would have liked to been able to see that.
