Surfhut posted on Faith Please say a prayer for Jacob. He, his wife, 4 year old daughter, 18 month old daughter survived the Moore tornado. They were left with the clothes they were wearing at the time. All of us here who know Jacob and his family are helping them. Please pray for them.

Escaped commieny Our Seminole Co Sheriff is filling two trailers and Mercury One (my post main page ) has just topped $1,269,450 heading for 1.5 mil. Beck had two trailers from Operation Blessing there that night and we have only just begun. There is a very special place in my heart for the people of Oklahoma. Not only did a civilian family come to clean our street, but their electrical people came too. Plus we used to spend a day a week in Tulsa or Muskogee, love OK

Rake King I have been too busy to post preparing for the Mrs. Knee operation tomorrow. I will not be posting for some time as we go thru the op and physical rehab. If I can get off a few posts or quizzes I will. She is the love of my life and saw me thru some operations, so it's payback time. I hope you all understand.

Rake King It is most kind of you to send prayers and greeting to "Tootie" (that's my Mrs. nickname ). She is a long time member of her church's Altar Guild, so she has many people in good with God speaking/praying for her..and with the addition of all my buddies on the Movie Wall, I'm sure the Lord will protect and heal her.

Surfhut posted on Blessings My sister. The whole family, really. She made a fried chicken dinner yesterday. Then we dragged out her 2 giant boxes of old pictures. Took a stroll down memory lane, remembered so many things from our history, laughed ourselves silly. We aren't a famous or noteworthy family. But we are rich.

Surfhut posted on Faith Thanks for your prayers. The winds have shifted from offshore to onshore, so everyone thinks they'll be OK. Before the winds shifted last night, the fire was near a restaurant on PCH called Neptune's Net, just about a mile from town.
I've lived through so many of these fires (evacuated twice ) and know how those winds can drive the fire and drop flaming embers a long distance from the main blaze. Anyway, moist wind is now coming in off the ocean and everybody is breathing a sigh of relief. Thanks for your prayers!
